Bowie

On one of my evening bicycle rides on the bayside beach trail - I stopped for this great view. View looking south towards Half Moon Bay at Black Rock. The distant cove is the Black Rock Sailing Club, and out at sea you can see the superstructure of the sunken battleship HMVS Cerberus. The HMVS Cerberus was the first British breastwork monitor turret ship ever built. It was scuttled at that point to act as a breakwater for the beach.
I usually do the 40km round-trip ride to St. Kilda, but you can go on to Mornington, a good 75km away - (and THEN you've got to come all the way back!!).

Gasworks Farmers Market at Albert Park

The Farmers Market at Albert Park is my favourite. You can see Mo with some of the zillion herbs she bought to plant in her greenhouse. We even got some super hot habañero chili peppers.

Silver

Silver fern at the Botanical gardens at Williamstown. Awesome crépes at a small café in Williamstown, they even have my favourite - Crépe Grand Marnier. Oooh la la
!

Mo Mara & Tia

Mara & Tia before they head out to school. Those huge black things are Mara's school and gym bags!
Mo with Koko & Krikka at the beach at Ricketts Point, Beaumaris. This is her morning 'darshan'.
All of the girls below have blue lips. no it wasn't cold, but (yeech!) bubble-gum ice cream. Wait, does it look like Mo is having two!

Mara & Kristin

Mara had a splinter, and Kristin her podiatrist helped get it out. No, it wasn't on her foot, but in her finger...

Tia at the Flower Exhibition

She went through 3 of those corn on the cobs - totally extreme...

Original Aboriginal Street Art....

Mara is checking out some great Aboriginal art on an electrical switching bus off Swanston Street, downtown Melbourne.
