Art Deco at the NGV

The recent Art Deco Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria had a spectacular exhibition. Evocative of an era that embodied real style, decadence, and a flair that really hasn't been eclipsed since. I spent hours (Coco Chanel's gowns, 60cm cigarette holders, post Art Nouveau structures, antique automobiles - there was an old Cord, - fabrics, clips from movies etc.) and could have spent days there. Photography wasn't permitted, excepting this old Mercedes outside the Museum, so this is all you get.
Shown is the 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540 K, Cabriolet C Sindelfingen
