Hats & Stuff

Trilbys, fedoras, hamptons, akubras, Barsolino, porkpies.... I am a hat-man! A great collection that Mara my daughter, started me on. Being bald, I realised I was either getting sunburned, or cold - and my hats now solve that. My favourite is still my first - a Stingy Brim by Akubra - even though I most often use a 'hooligan' flat-cap. It's just easier and less of a presence. Sometimes you just want to sail under the radar.
Does this have something to do with age? I don't know, but probably. I've always thought of them as classy! Uh, kinda Raymond Chandler-ish. More on this later. (Photo - Tia Baptista)
